It is crucial that a learn-to-swim program be part of every child’s life. We offer weekly, year-round, half-hour swim lessons for children 3 months and up using an internationally recognized, proven, systematic, fun and developmentally appropriate method for teaching children to learn to swim. We believe that consistent exposure to instruction offers students the greatest long-term benefit: simple steps and solid building blocks lead to long-term success.

Our welcoming family atmosphere includes:

two indoor pools heated to 90 degrees
state-of-the-art Ultraviolet (UV) pool sanitation technology
state-of-the art fresh air ventilation system in the pool area
comfortable glass-walled, air conditioned observation lobby for parents
showers and large dressing rooms (we are handicapped accessible)
a fun swim shop

  Overall, this Demont has been a wonderful experience.  The staff is always professional and well-trained.  We have been impressed by the level of dedication all the instructors have in teaching children to feel comfortable and safe in the water.   my children love the classes.  ? even though it's 30 minutes a week I can see an improvement in them?.  we really like the attention of the instructor Martin... but it is always a bit of difficulty in the time change.  even last time they messed up with a change I made.  and that affects other activities with my routine

  Definitely a swim school that takes it very serious. They have the most friendly staff and a lot of if them. You are never standing around without someone to approach if you have a concern.
I do wish I was able to communicate with his  instructor more directly at times because i never know what is being said because of the glass wall. They let me know his progress but I also want to know his behavior.

  As a former colleigate swimming parents, we are loving DeMont!  Within the first 2 minutes, streamline was introduced and on the second lesson butterfly kick.  We have a four year old and just want her to have the basics of good technique, that is what you will get here!   This is hands down the best swim school in Tucson. As a former instructor and coach myself, I appreciate the time the teachers take with the students, the attention they pay, the way they break down the strokes and make them easy to learn and perfect. They truly will make your child "as comfortable in the water as they are on land."
